How to Clean a Ceramic Crock-Pot

    Built-In Crock

    • 1). Unplug the Crock-Pot.

    • 2). Wash the glass lid with hot soapy water, or place the lid in the dishwasher to clean.

    • 3). Wipe the inside of the Crock-Pot with a cloth or sponge dipped in hot soapy water. Rinse and repeat until the ceramic crock is clean.

    • 4). Fill the crock with warm soapy water if the crock contains stuck-on food and is difficult to clean. Let the crock soak for about 20 minutes, and then use a cloth or plastic scrubber to clean the crock. Empty the dirty water in the sink.

    • 5). Wipe the inside of the crock with a cloth dipped in fresh, hot water to remove any soap residue.

    • 6). Clean the outside of the Crock-Pot with a damp cloth.
