Learn German

So you want to learn German, huh? Awesome! German is really a beautiful and useful language that's a lot easier to learn than you might think! In fact, I'll bet you think most languages are hard to learn and I don't blame you.
Here in the US, at least, our stupid school system turns what should be an exciting, emotionally packed experience into just another dull, routine homework assignment.
No wonder we don't remember anything from our high school language classes...
they were boring!! Now before I tell you the best way to learn German fast, let's picture all the ways that knowing German can improve your life.
German is one of the most spoken languages in the world and there are many German speakers outside of German.
Switzerland and Lichtenstein are just two examples and there are also tons of German speakers in countries like the Czech Republic, Brazil and the United States, just to name a few.
Since German is one of the most industrialized countries in the world, a lot of business is being done with Germans.
Just picture yourself going to meet a German businessman or prospect or colleague and being able to communicate with him or her in their OWN home tongue! Not only would they gain an instant admiration for your intelligence and effort to learn a whole new language, but they would also be more likely to view you positively and want to work with you, do business with you and generally help you out.
Let's get a bit more personal now.
Speaking from my own experience I can tell you that dating a German is very interesting.
Germans are very well educated people with a rich culture and history and a very different personality from, let's say, an American boy or American girl.
In fact, dating somebody who speaks the language that you'd like to learn is one of the best moves you can make to improve your language and learn it super quickly! You know how everything surrounding the person you're enamored with becomes more interesting? Well, imagine the light speed language learning you'd do if you could do it with a significant other! The best way to learn German is to buy your plane ticket to Germany now and spend at least a few months there, completely immersed and having no option but to speak and be spoken to in German.
