According to the NCBTMB (National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork), massage therapy may be one of the oldest recorded forms of medical care, and today, one in every six Americans gets a massage at least once a year. As people continue to seek out massage services to help promote health and alleviate stress and pain, schools teaching this ancient art have opened their doors to students eager to learn. There are almost sixty massage schools in the state of Texas alone.
