Things You'll Need
Cut the material into a strip that measure 44 inches by 3 1/2 inches.
Fold the strip of fabric so that the right sides are together. Thread the needle with the coordinating thread and make a knot in the end.
Sew the fabric strip, leaving one end open. Taper the other end so that it make a point when you turn it inside out. Use tiny stitches because the watering crystals are quite small.
Turn the neck cooler wrap inside out. Use the needle and thread to create pockets in your neck cooler wrap. Sew a vertical line approximately 14 inches up from the tapered end.
Fill the measuring cup with about a 1/4 cup of the water crystals. Hold the wrap up so that they slide down to the line you have sewn. The pockets ensure that when the crystals swell, they stay in the neck area to provide cooling relief.
Measure up 4 inches and create another pocket, making a total of four. Pour another 1/4 cup of watering crystals into each pocket before moving on to the next one.
Tuck the open ends into the tube about 1/2 inch and sew it together.
