Embroidery Digitizing Service – Making Baby Bibs with Tip Towels

If you want to create baby bibs as a gift, you don't need to turn to an embroidery digitizing service, you can do it yourself!

If you're a seasoned embroiderer, you may already have some spare fingertip towels in your collection. You don't need to run out and buy more though, if the project requires it. If you have spare towels you will find that they are bigger than tip towels and perfect for the project.

If you lay a tip towel over a towel, you will notice that they are pretty much the same, if not exactly the same, in width. So if you cut a hand towel in half, for example, you will have two tip towels that you can use as bibs. Fear not if you have a stripe along the side of the towel!

Firstly, measure the towel out into fourths if it is big enough. You will probably find that on the ¼ and ¾ marks that you have room to put an embroidery design before the strip. Next, embroider the two designs and cut the towel at the ½ mark. Serge the edges, turn and stitch down. Finish the raw edge.

The next step is to measure for the neck. Preferably, center the neck and finish off the edges. The bibs will turn out really well on the towels and you never know, your gift may be such a hit that people will want to use your Embroidery Digitizing Service.

Using towels does not change the functionality of the bibs and will in fact be even better if you use slightly thicker towels.

Remember to find ribbing that matches the towel or even ribbing that will match the embroidery design colors. Lastly, choose the artwork that you want to embroider onto the bib and set work matching thread; editing the design and loading it into the embroidery software ready to work with.

This is a really easy task and a great Embroidery Digitizing service to offer. The task is quick enough to be able to product a good amount of bibs!
