How to Remove DNSChanger

    • 1). Click "Start" and right-click "Computer." Click "Properties" to open a configuration window. Click the "Hardware" tab, then click "Device Manager" to open a list of drivers on your computer.

    • 2). Click the "View" menu item at the top. Click "Show Hidden Drivers." The hidden "SYS" files display, which are your system drivers that manage several settings on the computer.

    • 3). Click the "+" sign next to the icon labeled "None Plug and Play Drivers." Right-click each of the following files and select "Remove" in the popup window:

      TDSSxyz.sys where xyz are random characters

      msqpdxserv.sys

      gaopdxserv.sys

      gxvxcserv.sys

      seneka

      seneka.sys

      ndisprot.sys

      UACd.sys

      _VOIDd.sys

    • 4). Close Device Manager, reboot the computer, then open a Web browser and perform a search in Google. Click a link to verify that the software is no longer running on your computer.
